The members of the Seeds of Imagination benefit concert planning committee have been busy worker bees organizing, scheduling, designing, building, crafting, advertising and planning for the upcoming Benefit Concert on February 12th. And we would like to ask for your help!
On the day of the event, we could use some parent participation. So if you have some free time or can make some free time to help, we would be most appreciative!
Anyone who is free or able, please sign up for one of the following FIVE shifts:(duties will be simple, concise and easy to follow!)
SHIFT 1. 9:30am- 12:00 Noon
Decorations, Patron Gift Bags, Last Minute Box Office
We will need help organizing, moving tables, setting up flowers and silks, posting signage, etc.
SHIFT 2. 1:30-4pmTech Run, Lobby set up
-We are hoping some teachers and speakers can be present at this time.
-Volunteers can assist with communications, continue to set up and continue box office duties
SHIFT 3. 4-6:30pmPre-event, Catering, Deliveries
-Help receive deliveries, set up reception area (beverage and food area, glasses, signage)
SHIFT 4. 6:30-10pm
-We can use a few people for welcoming, tickets, box office, manning tables, moving items
SHIFT 5. 10pm-midnightClean Up
- A MOST important aspect to this night will be to help us wrap it all up!! We can use a team of people to help return items to the school and to sponsors, and help return Henry Street Playhouse to its original condition!
Also, if you are not planning on using the complimentary ticket, please turn it in as soon as possible so we can get an accurate head count for the theater and hopefully sell it.
In addition, we welcome your assistance in spreading the word about the concert. There is still time! Please share the evite with your circles of friends, colleagues and families, and also feel free to post this information on any online groups or listserves you belong to.
