Save the Date: Community Meeting March 14th 6:30pm

Please join us for our Community Meeting
Thursday, March 14th, 2013 at 6:30 PM

The meeting is an opportunity for members of our Board, Faculty, Administration and Parent Body to come together and discuss our important shared work at the school.

At this meeting we will discuss the First Grade Committee's proposal to offer a first grade class in 2014-15.  This would be the pioneering class and each year they would continue to lead the growth of our grade school.

We request that each family be represented at the meeting by at least one parent.

Please set the evening aside and we look forward to seeing everyone.

Winter Polarity  Outside Cold - Inside Warm

Red and Blue - Color Exercise

Have you noticed that colors can liberate and stimulate, harmonize and balance our well being?

Feel what impact fresh mint blue has on your mind!  Experience how soft gleaming vermillion red raises your enthusiasm!

Observe how the interplay between carmine-red and cobalt-blue creates space for inner movement.
We will find simple but nourishing images for our souls starting this personal research.

As a support, we might paint what we have once perceived in nature like a winter-blue sky at sunset and/or translate this into free flow of color movements.
So we might notice the value of colors on our well being and health.

Material fees $5, plus a donation for Children Center Umut Nadjeshda in Kirgysthan.

Brigitte Busse will be the guide through the artistic morning session with her experience as mother, art therapist, physical therapist and love for colors and long walks in nature.
