Parent Lecture: An Introduction to the Waldorf Grades Curriculum with Tim Hoffmann

Monday, October 21st from 7-8:30 PM

Please join us as we explore the Waldorf School First Grade and Grade School curriculum.

Questions we will consider include the following:
  • How does academic work begin in the first grade?
  • How do children begin to learn how to read?
  • How do foreign languages, mathematics, and music become a part of the children’s daily routines?
Speaker:  Tim Hoffmann studied anthroposophy and Waldorf education at Emerson College and the Goetheanum in Dornach.  A class teacher at the Rudolf Steiner School since 1981, he also taught for many years at the Rudolf Steiner Institute.  He is currently on sabbatical.

Adults only, please.
