The Community Meeting on March 14th was an
informative and inspiring evening that would not have been possible without the
whole hearted effort of the Grades Task Force.
We are so grateful to them for all their efforts in illuminating the
possibility of a New Amsterdam Grade School.
We also want to thank all the families present in body and spirit for
their insights, enthusiasm and willingness to step into the work of building
our school. We have attached the notes from the meeting along with our initial thoughts on how Waldorf education meets the developing child. Please take some
time with each of these and continue to bring your questions. There is exciting work ahead and we are
eager to take it up with you.
